Scott Parsons, Vice President, Investor Relations, Alamos Gold
Scott Parsons joined Alamos Gold in 2013 and was appointed Vice President of Investor Relations in 2015. Mr. Parsons has nearly 20 years of capital markets, finance and investor relations experience in progressive roles, primarily in the mining industry. Prior to joining Alamos Gold, Mr. Parsons was an Equity Research Associate and Analyst in the mining group at TD Securities. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Brock University and is a CFA Charterholder.
Laurie Thomas, CPIR, Vice President, Investor Relations, Standard Uranium
Ms. Thomas is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Professional in Investor Relations with more than 20 years of professional experience. Ms. Thomas recently held the position of Vice President of Corporate Relations for UEX, a junior uranium and cobalt exploration company in Saskatoon. Before UEX Corporation, Ms. Thomas held the position of Manager, Investor Relations at Cameco Corporation for 10 years, one of the world’s largest uranium producers. Laurie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in accounting from the University of Saskatchewan. She obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in 2008. She is also one of the first graduates of the CIRI/Ivey Business School Investor Relations Certification Program (CPIR).
Quentin Weber, Advisor, Investor Relations, WSP Global Inc.
Quentin Weber joined the investor relations team at WSP Global Inc. in 2019. Headquartered in Montreal, Québec, he is overseeing the investor relations program and is actively involved in a wide variety of projects. Prior to joining WSP, Quentin was involved in the transfer agency business for eight years. He holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Finance from the University du Québec à Montréal. Quentin is a board member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute’s Québec Chapter and a member of the Issues Committee.
