Speakers
Brian Ector, Vice President, Capital Markets, Baytex Energy Corp.
Mr. Ector joined Baytex in November 2009 and holds the title of Vice President, Capital Markets with overall responsibility for its equity capital markets and investor relations functions. Prior to joining Baytex, Mr. Ector spent 15 years as a sell-side research analyst, the last seven of which were with Scotia Capital where he consistently ranked as one of the top oil and gas analysts in Canada. Mr. Ector received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and received his CFA designation in 1996. He is an active member of CIRI where he spent seven years as a national board member, including two years as Chair of the national board. He is also a member of NIRI, the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Calgary.
