As a result of the SEC's new disclosure rule and the introduction of Compensation Discussion and Analysis in the U.S., Canadian regulators will soon issue a similar proposal rule for comment. The Canadian Coalition for Good Governance and others are advocating strongly for voluntary improvements to current disclosure rules.
