President's Message

Welcome to the CIRI BC Chapter.

Investor Relations in BC crosses all the major industries including high tech, biotech, resource, mining and clean tech but the principals of IR and the need to share information are the foundations of our profession. CIRI BC is dedicated to building and maintaining a spirit of community among investor relations professionals. Through IR education, mentoring and networking, the BC Chapter helps members improve their skills and keep on top of the latest developments in the field to meet today's market challenges.

It is more important than ever to discover, meet and connect with fellow IR practitioners to learn and develop the necessary skills to survive today�s turbulent economic times. We offer value-added Chapter seminars and workshops featuring respected investor relations practitioners, financial, legal and other experts who provide insights on the latest issues and trends in IR. These events provide opportunities for members to network, exchange ideas and experiences and broaden their professional knowledge in a relaxed setting.

We also offer a mentoring program for members, where experienced IR practitioners volunteer to give one-on-one advice to new members on a variety of investor relations topics.
